Moving Day Mayhem – Lions

Description

Get back over here! It’s a Jailbreak. A month had passed and now it was time to take the cubs to rejoin the Pride. This was  their first taste of freedom as they scattered. Little splashes of gold romping through the new grass springing up from the recent rains. We had been following the family as it moved, leapfrogging each other to keep the cubs beside our trucks. We watched the glee on the Cub’s faces turn to uncertainty and then to full-blown complaining as the day heated up. Taking only a short break to encourage and nurse the smallest one, she couldn’t stop for long before reaching the safety of the Pride with its newest members. We couldn’t help wondering which cub would have the best chance at survival in the tough world around them.
